Our rooms
Three rooms, one for each age

The twos room
For children who are 2. Mornings begin with a song at the door, and the day moves in small steps: a circle, a tray of work to choose, snack, the yard and a story. Yael leads the room, with a second teacher beside her. Children on the school day rest after lunch.
Ages 2 to 3
Mornings or school day
Rest after lunch

The threes room
For children who are 3. A longer morning of choosing work, from blocks and clay to the baking table. Ori visits each week with songs and Hebrew words, and children begin to help set the table for snack and for Friday.
Ages 3 to 4
Mornings, school day or extended day
Lunch from home

The pre-K room
For children in the year before kindergarten. Shira teaches the room, and the mornings have room for longer projects, a garden bed in spring and the stories behind each festival. Children light the Friday candles for the whole center.
Ages 4 to 5
Mornings, school day or extended day
Lunch from home
What to bring
Every day, in every room
In the bag
A water bottle, a spare set of clothes in a labeled bag and, on the school day, a lunch from home.
On the feet
Shoes that stay on for the yard and a pair of indoor shoes or socks that stay at the center.
In winter
Boots, a warm coat, a hat and mittens, because children go out whenever the yard is clear.
See a room at work
Tours run on weekday mornings, while the rooms are working.
