A day at Sage
A morning in three moments

Circle
Each room begins together on the rug with a song, the day's news and a story. Children sit where they like, and a teacher sits with them.

Making
Then comes a long stretch of choosing: leaves to arrange, paint at the easel, dough to roll. Teachers kneel at the table and ask what a child is noticing.

Clay and hands
Small hands work with clay, wool and paper through the year, and what they make goes into the festival the room is preparing for.
